High School: www.HighSchool.tbt-spark.org Youth Group names: Next week we will reveal the top finalists. Thank you to all who submitted a name suggestion.
Next: www.Next.tbt-spark.org Pastor has asked both the Middle School and High School students to come into Main Service each Sunday during the 11am service for the Summer. That means the next Spark will be August 10, 2003. That decision by Pastor has been a HUGE test of my faith. Pray for me in that area. Thanks for all the great feedback and comments on our recent look at Adam & Eve. The previously planned Total Request Spark will be postponed until mid-Fall. Everything that happens will be at your request. We will start the new school year with our annual look at our entertainment choices from God's perspective. We will then get educated on the importance of Genesis to Christian faith and doctrine. We will also have to reschedule our guest speaker for sometime during the Fall.
Summer Camp: United Christian Youth Camp Summer Camp is going to be great. Check out all the things we can do. We'll be hanging with 513 fellow Christians! This year's Camp Theme is: WHAT IS R.E.A.L.? R= REALTY E=EXPERIENCE A=ACTION L=LIGHT. If you're not going, you're going to miss a HUGE blessing! When you have the will to go to Summer Camp, God will give you the way.
YV: www.YV.tbt-spark.org The YV Box has had some great submissions this month. Make sure we hear your voice.
Stuff: www.Stuff.tbt-spark.org "Generous love makes him hold others innocent in his heart; even when he sees infirmity or fault in his neighbor, he reflects that very likely all is not as it seems on the outside, but the act may have been done with a good intention; or else he things that God may have permitted it to take place for an admonition and lesson to himself; or again, as an opportunity for him to exercise self-control, and to learn to die unto himself by the patient endurance of and forbearance towards the faults of his neighbors, even as God has often borne many wrongs from him and had patience with his sins. And this would often tend more to his neighbor's improvement than all the efforts he could make for it in the way of reproofs or chastisements, even if they were done in love, (though indeed we often imagine that our reproofs are given in love, when it is in truth far otherwise). For I tell thee, if thou couldst conquer thyself by long-suffering and gentleness and the pureness of thy heart, thou wouldst have vanquished all thine enemies. ... Bible Lessons: Go online and voice your opinion with our latest TbT Spark Poll. In an upcoming Spark lesson, (continuing a series on building our faith on the authority of the Bible), we will discuss 'Aliens: from a Biblical perspective'. We are also working on several other lessons: Adam and Eve, and answering the question: "Why, if God is good, is there death and suffering in the world?". The Next Spark's lesson (04.27.2003) will be on the first 14 verses in Psalm 103. At the Next Spark we will also show a 25 minute segment of video on Intelligent Design and DNA (http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs2003/0425dna.asp). We will also be giving away a 235 page book (to anyone seriously interested) on refuting common evolutionary arguments. Bring a friend, an enemy, and anyone else that can bear the strange things (Luke 5:26).

Stuff: www.Stuff.tbt-spark.org "I am learning never to be disappointed, but to praise," Arnot of Central Africa wrote in his journal long ago... I think it must hurt the tender love of our Father when we press for reasons for his dealings with us, as though he were not Love, as though not he but another chose our inheritance for us, and as though what he chose to allow could be less than the very best and dearest that Love Eternal had to give. ... I like to begin a service with some divine assurance of the liberality and the eager forgiveness of the God who is now meeting with us; not by beseeching Him to be gracious, but by believing that He is; that He stands to His promises; and that, quite safely, we can deal with Him on that assumption. ... Faith, 3, went to Good Friday services. That night she prayed, "Thank You, Jesus, for dying on the Cross. And thank You we didn't have to watch!"
When Bonnie's daughter was four, they attended an Easter pageant about the death and Resurrection of Christ. The play was beautiful with magnificent costumes and scenery. Bonnie made sure Robyn had an aisle seat so that she wouldn't miss a thing. Jesus came staggering down the aisle carrying the Cross. Big Roman soldiers pushed and shoved him. Robyn watched with wide eyes. At the reception following the performance, one of the actors who played a Roman soldier came over to Robyn, kneeleddown and quietly asked her, "Did you enjoy the play?" Robyn wagged her finger at him and said, "You BAD man! Bad! Bad man! You hurt my Jesus!" --True stories reprinted from Kidwarmers newsletter.

Racism: This is an issue that you'll even find within the doors of Bible believing churches and in the hearts of Bible believing Christians. Thursday, 24 April 2003, PBS-TV will be premiered a three-part series on 'Racethe power of an illusion.' This PBS series does not offer the same hope or real answers the Bible does but it is a good secular/scientific look at the fallacy of "racial" differences. The Bible is the only true answer to racism. Anyone interested in really studying this issue from a Biblical perspective, the Spark will make available to you: books, Videos, CDs, and handouts. These resources clearly outline important Biblical topics concerning the issue racism. We also have a Spark video, audio CD, and/ or .wav file available for anyone interested, from the Bible based lesson we gave on this issue.
