Yes, thank you!  I do respect your opinion very much, Dave!  You are a role model to, not only me, but many others! I am looking at Liberty's page right now!  They do have classes for my major! Yay! (e-10/23/2003 5:32:29 PM) Yay for Christian Colleges!!!

Lately, I have been searching for colleges and getting information on them.  I want to go to a Christian school, but they are so expensive and not many have majors in secondary education, or teacher certification.  I have looked at some Christian websites, searching for more schools, but like I said... not a big selection for my preffered major. I can understand how going to a Christian school would be an amazing growing experiance, but also know that my career is important as well as my budget... so... do you have any recomendations of school or do you think secular colleges are good?  Just what is your opinion? (e-10/18/2003 5:32:09 PM)         I'm honored you value my opinion. However, I'd never try to be the Holy Spirit jr. for you. It's a huge crossroads you're at. I'm not sure what God wants for you. I do know that God would never call you to do something He wouldn't provide for. Going to a good Christian school usually means out of state. Out of state usually means more money. So does going to a private Christian school.
I went to the U of A for 3 years and I am sure my experiences there shaped who I am. Being attacked for my faith in every class was trying but rewarding. I desire to go back to school very soon and will do so through a distance learning program through a Christian school called Liberty University.
I always encourage people to pursue Christian higher education opportunities above secular ones. I also encourage not choosing just any Christian College but, one that defends and promotes Creation.
There are many people in the TBT College Class & other TBT adult classes that have attended both Secular and Christian higher education. Their wisdom I'm sure would only help. I'll hook you up with some of those individuals if you so desire. Also in the TBT Spark Links section are a few Christian College related links that maybe helpful. I look forward to hearing more on how God is leading you in your decision.
